All monies raised for the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter will help with their mission to continue the much-needed work of caring for and adopting out
the many unwanted, abandoned or abused animals seen at our shelter!

All Charities Campaign

The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter is grateful to the employees of Manitoba who donated to our Shelter through the All Charities Campaign.

More than 20,000 current and retired employees are eligible to participate.

At Capacity

We are currently full to capacity with puppies & kittens. A variety of types and ages. Please come and visit the Shelter and possibly adopt one today.  You can also help us out by becoming a foster parent.

Strike Has Negative Effects

The Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter is 100% donor supported. We receive over 90% of all donations in the mail.

Since the postal strike and Canada-wide lockout the Shelter has received virtually no donations. The mailed in donations have stopped coming, but the pets haven't stopped arriving at the Shelter.
